This could still work. Should be implemented as Base.next_dsid and should be called by Base.add_datastream _not_ Datstream.new. In the meantime, Base.add_datastream now relies Base.generate_dsid if the datastream doesn't have a dsid set. _gene... Matt Zumwalt
